Marketing & Communications Director @POLITICO Europe
Freddie is POLITICO’s Marketing & Communications Director, leading on POLITICO’s audience, brand and product marketing strategies in Europe. He joined POLITICO in the first half of 2018 to grow its events marketing effort and has been one of the driving forces behind several of POLITICO’s key branding moments over the last years.
He arrived in Brussels in 2015 to work in marketing and communications for the European Parliament, following which he joined Euractiv (the news media network) and then the Assembly of European Regions (the largest independent network of regions in wider Europe).
Prior to a short stint as a head hunter in Bristol and as a social media manager for a tech company, Freddie read Geography and Geology at Toulouse University, and then achieved a first class honors Master’s degree from Bristol University in International Development.
Both a British and French national, Freddie is a passionate musician and music appreciator, and enjoys racket sports.
