Startup Palace renews its support (and its admiration) to Web2day
“Damn, 10 years” (say it with Jacques Chirac’s voice for the greatest effect).
This year, Web2day will celebrate its tenth anniversary. On the digital scale, 10 years of existence is quite a feat. But this longevity is in no way due to pure luck: it reflects the hard work of the Web2day and La Cantine team (sincere congratulations and thank you), the ever-growing enthusiasm for the world of startups and also the loyalty of the digital ecosystem in Nantes.
WE LOVE DIGITAL
Being actors of this ecosystem ourselves, we are proud to contribute to its influence by renewing our support for this great French digital event (Web2day, for those at the back of the class who haven’t been listening).
“More than ever, […] players like us have the responsibility to open their doors and to refuse the culture of keeping things to oneself.”
This point of view is particularly pertinent to us and echoes our mission: to accompany the growth of startups, the innovation of businesses and the development of territories by decompartmentalising the environment of each player to promote virtuous collaboration.
During Web2day, we will obviously remain committed to this mission, which we have been making a reality for several years, notably by operating OFF7, the accelerator of the Ouest-France Group, for the second consecutive year or by creating French Assurtech. The latter is an accelerator that federates traditionally competing businesses (Groupama, IMA, Maaf Group Covea, Macif, Maif), the Niort Urban Agglomeration and Medef Deux-Sèvres.
Beyond the aspect of “acceleration”, these initiatives also possess a dimension of Open Innovation. They promote collaboration between startups and major groups to activate new levers of innovation, to challenge traditional models and to offer an extensive field of experimentation for startups.
SEE YOU JUNE!
It is therefore with undisguised pleasure that we will attend this 10th edition, and we warmly recommend to the startups, businesses and public institutions that we accompany to do the same.
If you are reading these lines, you can believe us that you have to participate in Web2day to grasp the full extent of the event’s dynamics.
We also invite you to attend the Global Challenge on 14 and 15 June. This consists of an international competition for startups to be held during Web2day and which proposes to 50 startups to pitch their projects for 4 minutes to raise funds, find new clients or gain visibility. We warmly recommend this event to you, whether you come as a spectator or as a participant.
So, will we see you in June? Is it a deal?
